Helping young people find the words, and the confidence, to get hired.
Project ProComm is a hands-on communication and professional-skills programme that prepares young adults for careers in hospitality and customer service.
Every year, capable young adults complete their education yet still struggle to find work in the service sector. The barrier is rarely ability — it is communication and confidence.
Hospitality employers need people who can greet guests professionally, handle complaints effectively, communicate clearly, and carry themselves with confidence. Yet these essential workplace skills are rarely taught through traditional education.
Project ProComm was created to bridge the gap between education and employability — equipping young adults with the practical communication and professional skills employers are actually looking for.
Hello, my name is Ayaan Garg, and I am the founder of Project ProComm.
I launched this initiative after noticing a recurring challenge in my community. Despite completing their education, many young adults aged 18–20 struggled to secure employment in hospitality and customer-service roles because of limited communication skills and a lack of confidence.
To address this, I developed a structured programme focused on hospitality-specific communication and professional development. Through practical modules, roleplays, simulations, and guided coaching, participants build the confidence and skills needed to become job-ready.
This initiative matters to me because it transforms a qualification into real-world change. Rather than viewing certification as an achievement in itself, I wanted to use what I had learned to help others overcome barriers to employment — bridging the gap between formal education and career readiness.

Delivered across 12 weeks and approximately 60 sessions — built entirely around practice rather than theory.
Project ProComm is not about lectures — it is about outcomes.
Participants leave the programme more confident, more professional, and better prepared to succeed in hospitality and customer-service environments. Through practical learning and real-world exposure, trainees develop the communication and workplace skills employers value most.
Before joining ProComm, I was nervous speaking to new people and struggled in interviews. The roleplays and practical sessions helped me become much more confident. I feel better talking with customers and presenting myself professionally.
The hotel simulations felt like real work situations. I learned how to handle guest requests, communicate politely, and stay calm under pressure. The programme gave me skills I can use every day.
